Dowel stands traditionally store dowels vertically, but this can lead to warping or buckling, especially with slow-moving stock. To address this, we teamed up with Matus and Active Concepts to design a compact, lightweight stand that stores dowels horizontally. This distributes the weight across a larger surface area, reducing stress on any single point and preventing damage.
The stand measures 950mm high, 900mm long, and 320mm wide—perfectly sized to fit next to check-out counters, in garages, or craft rooms. Despite its compact size, it can hold an impressive number of dowels.
For longer dowels, like 1800mm lengths, simply place two stands back-to-back for seamless storage and easy access. Plus, it’s versatile enough to accommodate a variety of dowel sizes, making it an ideal solution for workshops, retail spaces, or personal projects.
